4 Keys to Success: The Formula To Make Your Dreams Real

Staying motivated, staying happy and becoming successful are all trending topics in society; as they should be. There’s no getting around it. In in my own life, as well in the lives of all the people, families and children I work with there seem to be 4 major and non-negotiable things that we MUST have, to make our dreams real. Without wasting your time lets go through each of them one by one.  Hope . Faith. Belief. Optimism. A Vision. We must have an  unwavering belief that it is possible  and that it will work out. Being hopeful is what will separate you from your daily problems or concerns, regardless of how minor or major they may be. Do something everyday that gives you more hope. Do something everyday that gives someone else hope. “ Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence. ”  – Helen Keller Confidence . Courage. Self Image. All play a part in how you see yourself ...

4 Undeniable Reasons You Should Never Quit on Your Dreams

Reasons You Should Never Quit In today’s world where everyone wants instant results – it is easier than ever to quit. It is easy to think that if it doesn’t come easy to you, it is not for you. It is easy to try something, and then if it doesn’t work out immediately, we can talk ourselves out of the importance or the significance of it.  With that said, if you were to ask any person you admire based on what they have given, gained or done, they will all have a very similar formula for success – they  don’t quit . Here are four reasons why YOU should never quit! Let’s be honest, did you really commit to the result? Did you really go all the way in? One of my favorite quotes from Les Brown is, “Even if you have all the right keys, the key will not work if you only put it halfway in the lock.” Sometimes we are so quick to quit, so quick to find reasons to talk our selves out of the effort, that we never put the time, energy or concentration into making it wor...

The Magic of Marking down Your Mood Every Day

Let me ask you a question: what emotions did you experience today? Were you happy? Sad? Frustrated or anxious? Recalling your emotions from the last 24 hours is pretty easy but what about yesterday? Or last Friday? It starts to be a bit hard. What if I’m asking you about last month? Emotions affect us every minute and every second. When you feel anxious at work, you’re more likely to make mistakes and it’s harder to come up with great ideas. When you’re frustrated for unknown reasons, you lose motivation and would just like to lie on your bed doing nothing. When you’re angry with someone, you unconsciously treat others angrily too. Losing track of emotions means losing track of all these. You’ll never know the reasons and patterns and hence never be to solve the issues and improve the situation. Emotions should be approached like money People treat money with so much importance yet they can be so dismissive of their emotions and how they affect them. When we have less money tha...

Chasing Happiness Won’t Make You Happy

When we talk about happiness, we think about staying happy all the time – every single day, every single minute with zero negativity. We try to pursue this constant state of “happiness” as our goal, and avoid anything that may take it away from us. But what is the meaning of this type of “happiness”?  It’s like your favorite food.  The more you have of it doesn’t always mean the better.  On the contrary, when you only have a chance to eat it sparingly, that’s when you really savor every bite of it.  So is it the food itself that makes you happy, or is it how valuable it is to you when you are eating it? We should always remember that  only by experiencing sadness do we understand what it is to be happy. Assuming others are always happy is the biggest misunderstanding of happiness. Most people see those who have seemingly perfect lives and assume they are happy all the time.  Since childhood, we are conditioned to chase the idea of “happily-ever-a...

Why You Have Fewer Friends as You Grow up (and It's Normal)

Having good people skills, I know how to make people feel interested and connected. I’m never worried to have no friend. But as I grow up, I find that I have fewer and fewer friends. And this is not just happening to me. It is a fairly common feature with everyone. The root of the problem is the way we made those friends in the first place when we young, heart whole and fancy-free. Photo credit:  Sourc e Everyone makes friends wrong when they were young Recall your best friends in high school. What made you become friends in the first place? And how did all that start out? Maybe it was because you sat beside her on the first day of school, started to chat and just decided that hey, you guys did get along famously. So you became friends, spending time together during breaks and hanging out after school… Or maybe both of you were on the football team and there came to be a friendship when your team won or lost, or when you all just practiced hard und...

To Make Wise Decisions, Ask Yourself These Questions Every Time

There is a reason why critical thinking remains one of the most coveted skills among employers, as it drives effective problem solving and enables informed decision making. This is also a viable life-skill, as the ability to think critically ensures that we make the right choices and form relevant judgments in any given situation. So whether you are a plumber who needs to work out the best materials to use for a particular job or a parent whose child is behaving badly and without obvious reason, critical thinking is a skill that can create positive and mutually beneficial solutions for all. Critical Thinking Is a Skill That New Graduates Lack While critical thinking may be an important life skill, however, it is also one that we struggle to deploy on a regular basis. Not only is this one of the primary skills that new graduates lack  1  in the modern age, for example, but it is also hard to define and this means that many of us fail to realise that we are not thinkin...

Don't Wait for People's Validation, Do It Yourself, Every Single Day

M   ost people are familiar with the proverb “As a Man thinketh, so is he”. That is no understatement. You are what you think and what you think becomes what you do. Yet somehow most of us leave that “what we think of ourselves” part to external factors that we have no control over i.e. other people. This behavior is confirmed by how many people spend so much time in editing a photo to post on Social Media just to get those likes. Every like is like a validation of something. How smart or beautiful we are. so what happens when your entourage is not having a good day or just not affirming what you want? Well, it’s not their job nor their place. There are valid reasons  1  why you need to have positive self image. Here are ways you can ensure you have positive affirmations to validate yourself every single day. As we age, we tend to focus more on what we lack Your mind is the ultimate battlefield. Most people make decisions based on their past experiences and thing...
